As summer comes to a close, so does the season for cooling off in the city’s popular water attractions. The City of Saint John has announced that its four public splash pads will be shutting down for the year starting Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
In an official notice posted on its website, the city noted, “We were thrilled to keep the fun flowing a little longer this year, but all good things must come to an end!”

Residents will have until that date to get in their final splashes at the following locations:
- Market Place West
 - Rainbow Park
 - Fleming Court
 - Ihtoli-maqahamok – The Gathering Space

The city expressed its enjoyment in seeing “families and friends making memories, cooling off, and enjoying these vibrant community spaces all summer long.”
