Upgrading Facility Tech

Siemens will deploy its Building X cloud software alongside traditional audit methods. This technology targets the facility air handling units, heating, cooling, water systems, and lighting controls. The project restores peak performance and monitors it continuously to prevent future waste.

Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Chuck Chiasson supports the move. “Any initiative that could identify potential cost savings for the province is a welcome one,” Chiasson said. He noted the audit ensures the facility operates efficiently and sustainably.
