Paul Marcel Albert shaped Acadian culture through his 20 years directing the Festival Acadien de Caraquet. He also cofounded the Acadian theatre company Compagnie Viola Léger. Brian J. Francis from Elsipogtog First Nation leaves a massive mark on film and visual arts. He worked on over 70 productions and served as the first Mi’kmaw interpreter on Parliament Hill. Émérentienne Lacroix influenced the Acadian music scene across both folk and classical genres. She founded the Douce Harmonie vocal ensemble and performed at the Lamèque International Baroque Music Festival for 35 years.

You will likely recognize Saint John business leader Edward L.D. McLean. He served on the board of the Saint John Port Authority and expanded his real estate business with Chipman Hill Suites. He also served as the final McLean family president of Connors Bros in Blacks Harbour. William Whalen built a strong public relations career with Irving Oil and the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce. He also helped bring major sporting events like the 2023 world junior hockey championships to Moncton. Patricia McKinney advocates for Indigenous people across the province.
