According to a report from Global News, the province is adding 16 new fast chargers to its eCharge network. This $5 million investment comes directly from the provincial emissions reduction fund.

The Energy Department is teaming up with NB Power to place these new fast chargers in underserved areas. They are targeting locations where private companies do not currently see a profitable business case.
