Do you know a person, group, or business that makes Saint John a better place to live? The City of Saint John wants to hear from you as it opens nominations for the 2025 Civic Recognition Awards.
These annual awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of community members who made a significant positive impact throughout 2025. According to a notice from the City of Saint John, the awards are designed to recognize exemplary actions, volunteer efforts, and achievements that improve our community.

How to Nominate Someone
Submitting a nomination is straightforward. The City encourages you to use the online nomination form. If you prefer a paper copy, you can get one at the City of Saint John Customer Service Centre, located on the ground floor of City Hall at 15 Market Square. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The deadline for all nominations is January 31, 2026.
After the nomination period closes, Saint John’s Common Council will review all submissions and select the recipients. The winners will be celebrated at an awards ceremony later in the year.
