Residents who missed the traditional Canada Day fireworks display will have another chance to see the sky light up over Saint John. The city has officially rescheduled the postponed celebration, framing it as a “spectacular send-off to summer.”
The original event was cancelled due to inclement weather and a provincial fire ban that was in effect at the time.

In an announcement on its website, the City of Saint John thanked residents for their patience and provided the new details for the much-anticipated show.
The fireworks are now set to take place on Saturday, September 27, at 9:00 PM at the Lower Cove Loop.
A rain date has also been scheduled for the following day, Sunday, September 28, at the same time and location, should poor weather interfere again.
