The 2026 Athlete Inductees
Peter Britt captured seven provincial boxing championships and won two national titles. He represented Canada on the National Team three times and competed in the 1984 Olympic Box Off Trials.
Glen Hayward earned seven Provincial judo titles, three Atlantic Championships, and four Eastern Canadian Championships. He represented New Brunswick at seven National Championships and competed internationally at the Francophone Games.
Olivia Gauthier started with Fundy Soccer before playing NCAA Division I soccer at the University of Memphis. She served as team captain, earned second team All American honors, and won Defensive Player of the Year. She also played professionally in Sweden and Kazakhstan.
James Smith found international success in small and large bore rifle shooting competitions. He won ten gold, three silver, and two bronze medals at the World Police and Fire Games.
The 2026 Builder Inductees
Robert McInnes led the local karate community through coaching and administration for over six decades. He founded the first Maritimes Karate Association and guided athletes to international success.
Allie Vaughan shaped taekwondo at the provincial and national levels for decades. He served as a Taekwondo Canada Performance Coach and Vice President of Taekwondo New Brunswick.
