The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit continues to investigate the disappearance of Madison Roy Boudreau. The 14 year old girl went missing from Bathurst in 2021. Police ruled her disappearance a homicide later that year.

The Day She Disappeared

People last saw Madison getting into a grey Ford Ranger around 7:30 in the morning on May 11 2021 in Bathurst. Her family reported her missing to the Bathurst Police Force that same day.

Following exhaustive searches and investigative efforts, the team ruled her disappearance a homicide on August 11 2021. The New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit took the lead on the case based on new information.

Focus on Middle River

Police believe Madison traveled to the Middle River area after she was last seen in Bathurst.

“We’re not able to share specific information to protect the ongoing investigation, but we have reason to believe Madison was in the Middle River area after she was last seen in Bathurst on May 11 last year. This would place her in RCMP jurisdiction,” says Cpl. Hans Ouellette of the New Brunswick RCMP. “We continue to work to find Madison and bring answers to her family, and her community. Anyone with information that could help our investigation should contact their local police, or Crime Stoppers.”
