The Town of Rothesay is keeping its popular floating walkway open longer than originally planned.
According to Your Saint John, town officials announced Monday that they will delay the seasonal closure of the attraction.
A Successful First Year
The new walkway at East Riverside Kingshurst Park gives you a unique way to experience the Kennebecasis River. In its first year, the Floatwalk drew large crowds of locals and visitors. Because of this strong turnout, the town decided to extend the season.
You now have until the third week of October to take a stroll on the water. This extension provides a great opportunity to enjoy the fall foliage directly from the river.
