Two people are in custody following a significant drug and weapons bust in Saint John that took more than $165,000 worth of illegal drugs off the street.
According to a media release from the Saint John Police, the Street Crime Integrated Enforcement Unit (IEU) arrested 32-year-old Kimberley Jones and 27-year-old Nicholas Barrett-Proctor on the evening of February 6, 2026.
The arrests followed a traffic stop where the pair was taken into custody for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and for weapons offences. Investigators then executed a search warrant at their residence.

The search resulted in a major seizure of drugs, cash, and a loaded weapon. Here is what police reported finding:
- 1,645 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine
- 26 grams of an unknown pink powder
- 21 pills believed to be Oxycodone
- A loaded Glock 26 fifth-generation handgun
- Several rounds of 45 caliber and 9mm ammunition
- $1,170 in Canadian currency
- Digital scales, cell phones, and contraband tobacco

Court Proceedings
Both Jones and Barrett-Proctor appeared in provincial court on February 7, 2026. They were remanded into custody and are scheduled for a bail hearing this afternoon.
