The City of Saint John is offering a great opportunity for you to get on the ice for less this holiday season. A new flash sale provides discounted rates on surplus ice time at several city arenas, but you need to act fast to secure a spot.
According to a notice on the City of Saint John’s website, the sale is perfect for a family skate, extra team practice, or a unique corporate event. More than half of the slots are often booked quickly, so timing is critical.

Discounted Rates and Key Details
The sale offers special hourly rates, plus HST. It is important to note that while available slots run until January 20, the city states the discount only applies to ice time booked between December 24 and January 6.
- Youth Not-for-Profit Groups: $80.89
- Adult Not-for-Profit Groups: $141.57
- For-Profit/Commercial Events: $183.85
Keep in mind that tournaments and fundraisers are not eligible for these flash sale prices. All bookings require insurance coverage, which you can get through the Cityโs provider for a nominal cost.
