Kick off your weekend with MIX Live Music and Cocktails Friday on June 5. Head over to MIX Resto | Bar for a vibrant gathering featuring live performances from talented local musicians paired with an exclusive cocktail and bites menu. Also on Friday, the Kennebecasis Legion Branch 058 is hosting an Open Mic Night.
On Saturday, June 6, enjoy an afternoon of free live music at Live & Local w/ The Partyline Band at Market Square, or catch The Last Call with Hobo Aquarium at Wasted Day Brewing.
If you’re looking for mid-week entertainment, check out Open Mic Night at O’Leary’s Pub on June 10, hosted by Brent Mason and Aaron Gunn. The following night, June 11, O’Leary’s welcomes Sarahtonein to the stage for an evening of raw vocals and infectious energy.
Food & Drink Specials
Treat yourself this weekend at The Saturday Bakery on June 6. This weekly pop-up event at East Coast Bistro features a monthly menu of traditional baked goods.
Looking for a great deal? Stop by for Happy Hour @ Britt’s on June 6 (and again on June 11) for drink specials. Britt’s also offers an After Eight special on June 8, and Southern Chicken Wednesday on June 10.
On Thursday, June 11, head to Beer Bread for their 5,6,7,10 Thursdays with Live Music, offering all-day and all-night happy hour specials.
Family Fun & Outdoors

Sunday, June 7 is packed with family-friendly activities! Head to Fisher Lakes at Rockwood Park for the Passport To Parks (also available in French as Passport au parcs) featuring canoeing, face painting, bouncy castles, and more. While you’re there, kids can participate in the Annual kid-friendly Rockwood Park Fishing Derby, a free event with no fishing licence required.
Also on Sunday, the Imperial Theatre hosts KidSing presents ‘Creative. Confident. Kids.’ with special performances at 11:00 AM and a 4:00 PM show.
Starting Monday, June 8, you can take part in the month-long Community Treasure Hunt by finding hidden treasure bags along the qplex trails.

For theatre lovers, catch Taking On Water at the BMO Studio Theatre on June 5. On June 9, the Imperial Theatre will host its Season 33 Launch (by invitation only).
Support local students at the ASD-S String Program presents ‘Spring Strings’ concert on June 8 at Saint John High School. Art enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Capital Art Sale – Saint John Edition returning to Market Square on June 11.
