On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Saint John will pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served, and continue to serve, Canada during times of war, conflict, and peace. To help you pay your respects, the City of Saint John has announced several public services across the community.
Here is a complete schedule of the day’s events, as provided by the official City of Saint John website.
South/Central Peninsula Service
The main Remembrance Day service will take place at TD Station, located at 99 Station Street. The ceremony begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. If you plan to attend, you should be seated no later than 10:20 a.m.
During this service, eight official wreaths will be laid to honour:
- The Fallen
- Memorial Cross
- Canada
- New Brunswick
- City of Saint John
- Royal Canadian Legion
- I.O.D.E.
- All Our Youth
If you represent a group, business, or family and wish to lay a wreath, you can do so at the Cenotaph in King’s Square immediately following the TD Station service. You can purchase wreaths from any Royal Canadian Legion branch.
West Side Services
Two services are scheduled for the west side of the city.
- 9:00 a.m. at the Field of Honour, Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery (1650 Manawagonish Road).
- 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69 Cenotaph (750 Manawagonish Road).
North End Service
A wreath-laying ceremony will be held in the north end in the afternoon.
- 2:00 p.m. at the Memorial in the Public Gardens (48 Seely Street).
