Saint John Brings Back Free Summer Park Events
Saint John is bringing back the popular Passport to Parks program for summer 2026. This series offers free family friendly activities across four city owned parks. You and your family can explore the city’s outdoor spaces, from beaches to splash pads, while participating in inclusive events.

Summer 2026 Event Schedule
The events take place throughout the summer. Here is the complete schedule:
- Rockwood Park: Sunday, June 7, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Start the day at Fisher Lakes with the free annual Fishing Derby from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There is no rain date for this event.
- Dominion Park: Saturday, July 11, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. The rain date is July 12.
- Glenn Carpenter Centre: Saturday, August 8, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. The rain date is August 9.
- Little River Reservoir: Saturday, August 29, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. The rain date is August 30.
