City Hall, along with the Rothesay Avenue and Adelaide Street offices, closes for the entire day.

Buses run on their regular schedule. You do not have to worry about disruptions to your daily commute.

Garbage and Recycling

City Market

The Saint John City Market operates under reduced hours. You can visit the market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Parking

You park for free at all on street meters and city owned surface lots. This follows the standard holiday parking rules for the city. You still need to pay for parking in the city garages.

The city encourages you to participate in the Healing Walk. This event gives the community a space to reflect, learn, and honour residential school survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities.
