Top Prospects Lead the Way
The official announcement highlights forwards Jamie Glance and Alexis Joseph. Both players received A ratings. This designation marks them as projected first round selections in the upcoming draft. They are two of only four QMJHL players to earn this top tier rating.
Glance currently leads the Sea Dogs in scoring. He has 19 points in 14 games during his first QMJHL season. The 18 year old American forward joined Saint John after a successful stint with the U.S. National Team Development Program. Joseph brings his own impressive resume. As the first overall selection in the 2025 QMJHL Draft, the 17 year old centre has 14 points in 14 games this season.
Depth Across the Roster
Four other Sea Dogs earned W ratings. NHL Central Scouting uses the W rating to project players as sixth or seventh round draft picks. This group includes forwards Matyáš Čančík and Oliver Ozogany, defenceman Thomas Charbonneau, and goaltender Rafaël Courchesne.
Čančík and Ozogany both joined the team through the 2026 CHL Import Draft and are making immediate impacts. Charbonneau is in his second season in the league after arriving from the Quebec Remparts. Courchesne anchors the group in net, returning for his second season and posting a solid 2.65 goals against average early in the year.
Upcoming Action
You can watch five of these prospects compete in the 2026 QMJHL Prospects Game on Wednesday, October 28 in Gatineau, Quebec. Joseph, Glance, Čančík, Charbonneau, and Ozogany will all participate in the showcase event.
